AC Milan VS. Juventus - The controversial Match!

Wow, its been a long time since I've written here! Don't worry Sahearts(made up word for my readers/fans), I'm back on track.

I have recently gotten a lot of requests on covering the Milan versus Juventus game - I know most of you want a video but you're going to have to settle for some creative writing.

Lets get to it kiddies...

AC MILAN vs JUVENTUS, the much anticipated and talked about game in Europe of the week. It was like battle of the exes! Nocerino was to show Juventus what they were missing out on as Pirlo and Borriello were trying to do the same to Milan. I know a lot of Milanisti could care less about Marco Borriello's absence on the Milan squad but I know a lot of us felt very nostalgic as we watched Pirlo run across the field so elegantly, hair breezing through the wind, sweat trickling down his face... *sigh.* Okay enough of that; this match definitely gave me premature ventricular contractions even though it ended in a tie. The first goal of the match was quite the sight! Even though it was a little bit of a deflection off of Bonucci, I think it would have gone in regardless of Bonucci's position. From outside the box, Nocerino blasted the ball into the back of the net right past poor ol' Buffon. 1-0 Milan! You know whats really fun to say? Nocerino three times relatively fast - Nocerino Nocerino Nocerino. Such a futbol name. I wonder if Italian and Brazilian parents purposely give their sons futbol-esque sounding names just incase they one day become stars. Young Juventus defender Bonucci was slightly insignificant and I'm not sure if his existence on the pitch was needed - he may have done more harm than good, however, it worked in Milan's favor.

Everything before 25 minutes was fun and games until the linesmen decided to suffer from cataracts and go relatively blind - leaving his glasses, contact lenses, binoculars, or seeing eye dog at home. Ghanian Muntari clearly heads the ball into the net, however super Buffon reached to retrieve it. At this point the ball was already far over the line - which in Lamens terms is called a GOAL. Someone needs to teach the ref a thing or two about footy. The second goal of the night for Milan goes uncounted, and the Milan players were P.I.S.S.E.D! So was everyone on twitter - yikes. In all his anger Robinho has a one on one with Buffon almost right away but Buffy saved the ball with his head. Even though Juventus had 10% more possession it seemed as though Milan had most of the control in this match. Just so that they don't get shot by Milanisti, the Ref flagged Matri's goal at 80 minutes as offside. Controversial call, and I honestly think it would have been counted as a goal if it weren't for the ridiculous call in the beginning of the match by the blind linesmen. I kind of feel bad for him, should we send him a magnifying glass? 3 minutes later Matri goes at it again and scores! Juventus kept possession in the box because of a rare mistake by Thiago Silva. It allowed Matri to half volley it into the net making the score 1-1 which should have technically been 2-2. I'm just happy that either way it would have been a tie, or else there would have been a lot of angry fans on both ends!

Despite a suspended Ibrahimovic and a long list of injuries, Milan did pretty well given the circumstances and are still leading the league 1 point ahead of Juventus.

Thats all she wrote folks.

Until next time,
SBS, adios.
